Why BeetTan?
Created by Michelle Peth in 2014 in Savannah, GA, BeetTan is an organic, plant-based, one-color solution made from beets, aloe vera, and coconut. The sugar from the beets reacts with your skin to achieve the color your skin would naturally tan. The DHA in the formula tans the top 10-12 layers of your skin, creating a natural-looking glow. BeetTan is vegan and paraben free, with no added makeups or preservatives, so you can feel good about what you’re spraying on your skin!
The Process
Step 1: Get Ready
24-48 hours before your spray tan, please shave, exfoliate, and moisturize. All other beauty services should be done before your spray tan. Come to the appointment product free (no lotion, deodorant or makeup). Before your appointment, be sure to read our Glow Prep Guide and bring your signed consent form.
Step 2: Get Sprayed
Getting sprayed will take 5-10 minutes. I will guide you through the proper motions to ensure a flawless application. You can go nude, wear your undergarments, swimwear, or even a tank and shorts.
Step 3: Get Dressed
Wear dark, loose-fitting clothing with open toed sandals. There is no dry time, so you can get dressed immediately after your appointment is over. Our solution is wearable and scent-free. Don't sweat or get wet while the tan is processing.
Make it Last
Rinse off in the shower 8-12 hours after getting sprayed. Pat dry, moisturize, and stay hydrated! Enjoy your natural glow for the next 5-7 days! The life of your spray tan depends on how well you take care of it!

My BeetTan Story: I have very fair skin and have always loved getting spray tans. I debated buying a small machine to do them on myself, but didn’t know where to start. I came across BeetTan on Instagram and I realized I could start a BeetTan business of my own. A few weeks later I was training in Savannah and the rest is history! I opened Classic City Glow July 2019 and have learned so much about spray tans and running a business along the way.
The best part of my job is: Meeting women from all walks of life and helping them feel beautiful. I love getting to know them and always have the best conversations with my customers. I hope they feel comfortable when they leave the appointment and know that I appreciate their business and want them to love their spray tan.
